‘Dear Morning Mayhem,
My girl and I have been together for a couple years now. We had our life planned out, marriage and a family. Recently we found out that she has stage four stomach cancer. She is terminally ill. The doctor said we can go through the treatments to prolong her life but she probably only has about 1-2 years left to live. I love her of course but I want to start my life. I want kids and to have the woman I’m spending forever with, not five years… if I’m lucky. I want to leave her to find that but I don’t know how. What do I do? Am I being selfish?’
