I always thought that starting the school day at 7am did nobody any good because for one, your students are half asleep and ready to crash out any second unless your first class is band.
A study in Reno, NV shows that undergrads who begin their day at 10am or later, are more focused and attentive to their work. Why? I believe it’s the sleep they get and not being pressured to wake up to concentrate on problem solving.
