How is technology helping you now?

Where would we be without the tech that we have today? I’ve been thinking about that lately and it kind of scared me. This pandemic has brought the worst out of people not only with being quarantined but now that things are reopening, there are still fights. You would think that being able to go to your favorite places would bring peace but there’s still anxiety. To wear or not to wear a mask, a lot of businesses enforce it. How do you stay updated with everything? Your phone or smart device right? What if you didn’t have it? TV, radio, and newspaper can be a good source of information but they can’t keep you connected with people that can’t be next to you. So it’s a curse yet a blessing to have social media platforms like Facebook and IG because although we are able to share memories and connect, the bad stuff is still magnified. I talked about cleaning up old FB posts on my show and realized that things you posted in the past can come back to haunt you. If a company is looking to hire you, some will ask for your social media handles. Whatever way technology helps you through these trying times, just remember to use it to help someone else out. It could be as simple as video calling a family member.
