Since 1970, the LGBTQ community has marked June as Pride Month—a time to celebrate what it means to be lesbian, gay, bisexual, and/or transgender and also fighting against the injustices these communities have suffered over the years. But here some facts you might not have known about the start of Pride month.

Join us for our first annual Kids of Pride, June 7th, 2022, at 4pm at The Orpheum Community Hub.
This is a great time to spend with school-aged children to create a safe space for the children of pride to gather in a safe place and really have fun! Featuring performances from our local talented youth, music, games, Storytime, and titleholder performances. You don’t want to miss it!
Albuquerque She+ Fest

Join us as we gather as one community to honor and remember our past. There will be guest speakers, a poem, a blessing, and speeches from your Albuquerque Pride Board members and titleholders. We will conclude with a candle lighting and a moment of silence before we depart to the Albuquerque Social Club for the official reception immediately following the Candlelight Vigil.
