- Anna Kendrick Says Filming “Twilight” Was Like A “Hostage Situation” Anna Kendrick spoke with Vanity Fair about her role as Jessica Stanley in the Twilight series. She remembers that it was “cold and miserable” shooting the first film in Portland, Oregon back in 2008. Kendrick said, “I just remember my Converse being completely soaked through and feeling like, ‘You know, this is a really great group of people and I’m sure that we would be friends at a different time, but I want to murder everyone. Although it was also kind of bonding.” She continued, “There was like something about it, like you go through some trauma event, like you imagine people who survive like a hostage situation and you’re kind of bonded for life.”
- 2020 Coachella Festival Officially Cancelled After postponing the 2020 Coachella festival from April to October, organizers are now calling the whole thing off. According to Billboard, parent company AEG has officially cancelled this year’s festival and laid off about 15 percent of its staff. The plan is to resume Coachella in either April or October of 2021. This year’s lineup included headliners Travis Scott, Frank Ocean, and Rage Against The Machine, who were set to reunite for the first time since 2011.
- 90 Percent Of All Independent Concert Venues Could Close Forever Because Of Pandemic Independent concert venues across the country are in trouble because of the pandemic. As some businesses begin to open, concert halls and clubs remain empty for performances. According to a new survey by the National Independent Venue Association, 90 percent of owners think they might shut down forever if venues can’t reopen in the next few months. The survey was to alert the government that venues “have zero revenue, high overhead and no clear timeline for reopening.” These businesses need relief packages above and beyond what has already been presented. A movement called #SaveOurStages has the support of over 600 artists including Lady Gaga, Neil Young, and Billy Joel.

None of your f**king business, because I am beautiful, I am strong, I do my job, and I stay on my job,” says Lizzo. Lizzo continued saying it didn’t matter what you eat or if you workout or not, all that matters is “what happens on the inside. And a lot of y’all need to do a f***ing cleanse for your insides.”
